Wore these straight out of the wash and they came out just as soft, no pilling at all. The TENCEL modal feels cooler than my old cotton set, which I didn't expect from something this cozy.
I run hot at night and these actually keep me from waking up sweaty, which I didn't expect from a modal set. The cropped top hits right at the waist so it doesn't ride up when I toss around.
The fabric is so soft and breathable that I forget I'm wearing pajamas instead of my usual lounge clothes. The cropped length hits just right for warmer nights, and the modal holds up great after a few washes without pilling.
