I wore these straight out of the wash and they didn't lose their shape at all. The modal blend feels cool against my skin, which is exactly what I wanted for summer nights.
I've washed these maybe five times now and the modal rib hasn't pilled or stretched out at all, which is more than I can say for my old cotton set. The spandex gives just enough give that they move with me instead of bunching up at night.
The ribbed texture on these is way nicer than I expected, it feels substantial without being heavy. The TENCEL modal keeps me cool even on warmer nights, which is exactly why I switched from my old cotton set.
