The modal fabric is genuinely buttery, not the stiff cotton I'm used to, and it stays that soft after multiple washes. The long sleeves keep me warm without overheating since the material breathes so well.
I've washed these at least a dozen times now and they still feel as soft as the first wear, no pilling at all. The bit of elastane makes them stretch without getting baggy, and the long sleeves are perfect for cold bedroom nights.
The TENCEL modal fabric is genuinely buttery, way softer than the cotton sets I used to wear. I run warm at night so I was worried long sleeves would be too much, but they breathe fine. The OEKO-TEX certification sold me too, nice not worrying about what's in the dye.
