The TENCEL Modal fabric is ridiculously soft, and the straight leg actually skims instead of clinging. I've washed them four times now and they haven't pilled or lost shape.
I wore these on a 6-hour flight and didn't want to change into anything else at the hotel. The TENCEL modal really does feel cooler than regular cotton, and the touch of spandex keeps them from bagging out at the knees.
These are the softest straight-leg pants I own, and the TENCEL modal fabric doesn't cling or wrinkle even after a full day at my desk. The touch of spandex gives just enough stretch, and I like that they're OEKO-TEX certified so I'm not worried about the dyes.
