I've washed these a handful of times already and the modal fabric still feels just as buttery, no pilling at all. The elastane gives just enough stretch that the shorts don't ride up while I sleep. Genuinely the softest set I own for hot nights.

The ice blue is so calming and the ivory piping gives it a clean, put-together look even for lounging. The TENCEL modal feels buttery against my skin and I barely notice the waistband, which is huge on hot nights. I've already washed them twice and they came out just as soft.
